Nigeria military imposes 24-hour curfew on Yobe following Boko Haram attacks.





The military on Friday imposed a 24-hour curfew on Yobe following attacks on Damaturu, the state capital, by suspected insurgents on Thursday night.

This is contained in a statement signed by Capt. Eli Lazarus, spokesman of the 3 Division Special Operations Battalion, Damaturu.

“The 3 Division Special Operation Battalion, Damaturu, hereby imposes a 24-hour curfew across Yobe state, with immediate effect.
